Athletic Directors please make sure all of your coaches’ certifications are current.

Coaches that are not certified in AED, CPR and FIRST AID ARE NOT ALLOWED ON THE FIELD OR IN THE GYM WITH TEAMS.

1. AED certification is valid for 2 years. An AED course administered by Emergency Skills, Inc. (ESI) must be taken to renew certification once every two years.
2. CPR certification is valid for 1 year. A CPR updated course administered by Emergency Skills, Inc. (ESI) must be taken every year. In the year that the AED course is taken, the CPR update will be incorporated into the AED course.
3. First Aid certification is valid for 3 years. A First Aid update course administered by approved PSAL instructors must be taken once every 3 years.
4. Athletic Directors must maintain copies of all coaches’ required certifications. Copies of all certifications should be faxed to Maria Roman at 718-707-4224.
