Girls and Boys Basketball Coaches

  Extension to Regular Season
Several snow cancellations have caused major scheduling issues for schools attempting to make up games. In order to alleviate this situation, all playoff bound teams (.500 record or better) will be allowed to schedule make up games through Thursday, February 5, 2004. Teams that do not qualify for the playoffs have until Saturday, March 27, 2004 to conclude their season.

Please note: If your team needs to make up a game and that game may have playoff implications it must be completed prior to Thursday, February 5, 2004. For example, Team A is 4-5, has one game left to play, and needs to win to qualify for the playoffs, the game must be played by Thursday, February 5, 2004.

Borough Championships
Seeding will be posted for the Borough Championships on Monday, January 26, 2004. The first round of the PSAL Borough Championships will start on Friday, January 30, 2004 with the top eight teams from each borough hitting the floor in search of the crown. The first round will be hosted at the home of the higher seeded team. The top four teams from the Staten Island Girls Division begin play on Saturday, January 31, 2004 at Petrides HS (Girls only, 12 noon & 2pm). The Second Round of the Borough Championships will be held at a neutral high school on Saturday, January 31, 2004.
