| Red Alert: Flushing is on the Rise |

Once one of the oldest programs in the city, Flushing football was unceremoniously disbanded in 2001. It resurfaced again in 2005 as a developmental team, after a failed attempt in 2003, and worked its way back to the varsity level last season. Posted on 10/4/2008 |

| Health Professions (Girls), MSIT (Boys) Win Mayor’s Cup Cross Country Titles |

Cross-country teams from the Public Schools Athletic League (PSAL), Alliance of Independent Schools (AIS) and Catholic High Schools Athletic Association (CHSAA) joined together on a beautiful fall afternoon to compete in the fifth annual Mayor’s Cup Cross Country Championships at Van Cortlandt Park in the Bronx.
