What:   Citywide Tryouts for Boys to participate in the City Game.

 

When: Monday April 11th, 2005; 4pm-8pm  

Monday April 18, 2005; 4pm-8pm (Practice for Game)

 

Where: Hostos Community College, 475 Grand Concourse; Gymnasium {Bronx}

 

Who:    For graduating male high school seniors with 2.0 GPA or 820 SAT or 17 ACT exam scores

 

Actual City Game Date:  Tuesday April 19th, 2005 at John Jay College

 

 

The City Game was started by the Sports Foundation in the early 70’s as a showcase All-Star Game for the best high school basketball players in the City.  It is the oldest post season high school game in New York City.  In 1982 the game became a platform for student/athletes to try to get scholarships into colleges/universities.
