Last year new life was injected into PSAL basketball when the decision was made to realign Boys basketball into three separate divisions. The fruits of that process have grown now that teams have completed half of the schedule while participating in one of the most thrilling and competitive regular seasons in recent history. The competition has kicked into gear in all three divisions as teams vie for the playoffs. During the final weeks of the season the intensity should increase as each team attempts to make their mark on the 2007 season. Top teams in each of the three divisions will showcase their talents this weekend in the 2007 PSAL Boys Basketball Winter Classic at St. Francis College in downtown Brooklyn. Basketball fans should not miss this event that begins at 1:00 PM on Saturday, January 20!
