We'll start the
weekly soirée by taking the ferry to Staten Island
and previewing the Curtis – Wagner clash. Pete
Gambardella arrives with the PSAL sack leader Dominique Easley to give us their thoughts on the big game. Each week during the season the coach gets
together with us in our weekly special feature ‘A Year in the Life Curtis Football.'
Then we'll move the
chains to the Bronx for a sneak preview of the
big borough bash between JFK and DeWitt Clinton. Alex Vega (JFK) drops by
to discuss the battle for the Bronx bragging
rights.
Then we’ll reprise
a recurring feature, “Where Are They
Now?” with the former PSAL football commissioner Allen Leibowitz as he returned to his alma mater last week to
commemorate the 50th anniversary of New
Utrecht’s city championship football team.
The celebration included honoring legendary New Utrecht coach Sy Rapp who coached the Utes from 1956
to 1968.
